The Massey Harris Lofts are housed in an authentic post and beam Century old building that began as the head office for Massey Harris farming equipment back in 1883. One of Toronto’s leading architects of the time, Edward James Lennox was responsible for this building along with other landmarks such as Old City Hall.

For close to a century it was used for the company as it evolved into Massey Ferguson and in 1973 the historic building was listed as a Heritage site within the City of Toronto.

This distinctive and stunning building is rich in restored vintage character and considered one of the most desired loft conversions in the city combining the features of yesteryear with sleek modern compliments. The conversion was done by Canderel Stoneridge in 2002 with the interiors designed by Cecconi Simone, both respected names in the industry. The lofts feature a wonderful combination using the best of both worlds with radiant heated flooring, glass showers, giant bay windows and 100 year old stone and brick interior walls. This boutique sized building only offers 46 unique suites with 5 levels.  Some of the bathrooms have been created from the old payroll vaults along with vaulted metal ceilings. A very unique and cool feature! High lofty ceilings range from 11 feet to over 18 feet found in the two storey penthouse suites which are recent extensions above the original structure. The turnover is very low within this building.

In addition to the incredible character found in these lofts, is the added appeal of the surrounding “King West Village” hood with art galleries, fab eateries and shops that are attracting a vibrant pulse to the west end of Toronto. Next to the building is the recently developed Massey Harris Park, a great fave with the local urbanites, pooches and kiddies. It’s a creative oasis with free Wi-Fi for outdoor surfing and relaxing.
