The Candy Factory Lofts started Toronto’s love affair with lofts! This was one of the first hard loft conversions and from this, lofts began to spring up across the City including converted factories, offices and warehouses to soft loft styles within new condominiums.
This circa 1915 vintage brick warehouse was once home to Cede Candy Co. that was known for its Halloween goodies. Along with being one of the most popular lofts, The Candy Factory is also the most well known post and beam condo building in Toronto.
The Candy Factory Lofts take up the entire expanse of the block between Crawford and Shaw and houses 121 suites. In addition to being a beautiful building, it’s surrounded with some really neat Shops and Parks. The funky Ossington strip, hip Queen West galleries, restaurants and stores, King Shops and Clubs and Trinity Bellwoods Park are all part of the hood and close-by.
The suites range in size from approximately 800 - 3000 square feet and showcase vaulted ceilings, vintage wood beams, some exposed brick, floating spiral ductwork, plank hardwood flooring, high arched windows, open concept kitchens and many custom upgrades. Some suites have gas fireplaces and the penthouses are two storeys with spiral staircases and private terraces. There is a 24 hr concierge onsite with the amenities including a party room, gym, guest suite, locker and underground parking.
This 100+ year old warehouse is one of the most desired buildings in the city. The Candy Factory Lofts were rated top 10 for Toronto's coolest condos by Toronto Life!
